Hugo

Hello!!! Today me and the entire 5th
grade went to go to see the new movie
Hugo! Hugo was well lets say. . .
amazing!!! Its about this boy called
Hugo, and he needs to find this key
to start a machine. Oh, and did I mention
that he lives in a train station?  Anyways,
Hugo meets a girl and she has the key.
they team up and go on a adventure!!!
Turns out that the girl's god father is the
one who made the machine. he was a
movie maker but he is well. . . broken.
they fix him by . . . well,  I don't want
to ruin the end. However, I do want to
bring up one moment in the movie. Hugo
and Isabella (the girl) are looking on to a
Paris scene, and Hugo says "I sometimes
think that the world is a machine, and
machines never come with any exstra parts,
just the parts that it needs. So if the world
was a machine then you can't be a exstra part
you belong there." All in all I give the movie
four and a half stars. I really suggest seeing it.

Are you a fan of Harry Potter?
well if you aren't, you are the most
weird person in the whole entire
universe (and I don't mean that in
a good way). Anyways, If you are
a fan of Harry Potter, then do I have
news for you. So I was last night I was
going to get a movie at this place called
Video Free Brooklyn. The shop is on Smith
St. between Douglass and Degraw St. So
Anyways I walked In and on the counter
was a sign that said "Harry Potter stuff for
free! Just ask!"So I did expecting like a sticker
or something small like that, but I didn't. Instead
I got Two ginormous Stickers that are like poster
size, a button, and a post card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So If you are a fan of Harry Potter and you don't
mind getting one movie for a really cheap price,
then go and get that Harry Potter stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

                                                         How to give your Guinea  Pig a bath:


                                                               What you will need:
                                                       -baby wipes (no Cloris  or Lysol)
                                                                     - a towel
                                                           - 2 small bowls or sinks
                                                                         - soap



1. Fill one tub with warm water
2. Fill the other tub with normal water and put 3 to 4 squirts of soap in it
3. Put the guinea pig in the tub with soap in it
4. Hold the guinea pig's head up so none of the water gets in it's eye
5. Splash water gently on the guinea pig's body an "tickle it
6. Have ONE person rub water gently on the guinea pig's face but DO NOT get it in it's eyes
7. Take the guinea pig out and put it in the tub with warm water 
8. Repeat directions 4, 5, and 6 (this is so you rinse the soap off).
9. Take guinea pig out and use baby wipes to clean any extra dirt off
10. Take the towel and dry your guinea pig
11. Enjoy your clean guinea pig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day of the Dead

Hello. Today my class and I celebrated Las Dia De Muertos also known as Day of the Dead. Even though the holiday is celebrated for three days, my class only celebrated it for only one. You might think because of the name that Day of the Dead is scary holiday but it isn't. Its a happy one. See day of the dead is not to celebrate the ones that have died and morn over them, its to celebrate the lives that they lived. We ate a sweet bread called the bread of the dead and had sugar sculls. We also played a game that was like Bingo incept instead of numbers and letters, there were pictures. 

Hello! Today me and my class went to The Museum of Natural History!!! Me and

my classmates are studying the Neanderthals. We saw lots of very cool exhibits. We also got three papers to fill out. I made sure to stuff mine and I'm sure lots of other people did too. My class also studying how Columbus got to America and what he did to the Native Americans. So we also got to look at Native American stuff too!!!!! I got a idea from my visit there, I wonder if the Neanderthals noticed that they were evolving. I came to this wonderful idea by thinking that the Neanderthals evolved in to homo-sapians right?  Wouldn't they notice the change?  This affects me and all the other people of the Universe because if the Neanderthals didn't evolve then none of you people would be reading this amazing blog update because computers wouldn't have been invented because human race wouldn't exist!!!!     

Pratt

Today in school the 5th grade toke a field trip to Pratt. Pratt is a collage. You might think that worrying about a collage in 5th grade is silly but as they say in Pratt, "your never to young to start thinking about your future." Pratt also has a program for kids who are looking to go to collage. You write essay and send it in. You get money for how ever good your essay is. We also learned why you should stay in school and watched a lot of funny vidios done by the students in Pratt! plus we learned a song in sigh language! I had a lot of fun!!!

Horseback Riding Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This summer I went to Horseback Riding Camp!!! It was super duper fun. You start off by getting assigned to your own partner, and then your horse!!! My horse was called Sammy. You go out to the ring and start riding. You learn how to steer,make your horse go, and do 2-point.Later you decorate a horse shoe and your horse for the grand show!!! You do a hike with your horse. Then you do Red Light, Green Light. I got 3rd place. Over all I had a great time!!!
